Asmodee acquires the worldwide rights for the game Rory’s Story Cubes.

Guyancourt (France) ; Belfast (Northern Ireland) ; May 23th, 2017 - Asmodee Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of the worldwide publishing and brand rights for RORY’S STORY CUBES, the iconic storytelling dice game!

Created by Rory O’Connor and Anita Murphy, Rory’s Story Cubes provides a playful activity that sparks the imagination, fosters creativity and encourages intergenerational communication. These qualities have also made it an excellent teaching resource that is treasured by teachers in schools around the world.

Rory’s Story Cubes was first published by The Creativity Hub in 2008. When launched in the US in 2010 it quickly reached No. 1 in Game sales on Amazon. Since then sales have gone from strength to strength and it is now available in more than 40 countries.

Asmodee Group, distributor of Rory’s Story Cubes in France, Spain and Belgium since 2013, has always been convinced of the immense potential of the game. The educational and creative aspects of Rory’s Story Cubes are a perfect complement to their existing catalog of games (Dobble, Timeline, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic …).

Over the next few years Rory, Anita and The Creativity Hub team will work with Asmodee to help with the brand philosophy and product development of Rory’s Story Cubes around
the world.
